Looking back, did you write more fics than you thought you would this year, less than you thought or about what you predicted?
Wrote a few more than I expected when I went back to count, but that's because last year's count was so abysmal. So actually I'm more about where I anticipated at the beginning, I think.

Where did you publish/archive your stories?
Here on LJ and over at AO3. Journal gets x-posted to DW & IJ when I remember ;;U_U

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2012?
Marvel universe! I don't remember when I first tried reading Cap/Iron Man fic, though I think it wasn't until around March, but even then I hadn't anticipated getting up the nerve to try writing it. Now I have, plus I've fallen deeply in love with the fandom and gotten into the MCU & 616 universes in a big way.

This year I also tried my hand a couple times at genderbend! Which I never thought I'd write, wowie.

What’s your favorite story this year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you the happiest.
Finishing Stay (awake) with me was a huge freaking relief even though I'm still not happy with it. I really loved writing NaNo. But of what's posted, Unwound was the most fun!

Okay, NOW your most popular story.
I'm betting it's Simple Kind of Life & sequel. I'm not sure that everyone who read the first part of Journeys stuck through with Stay (awake) with me. :-\ Otherwise that's probably a close second.

Story most under-appreciated by the universe?
Will You? for sure. Too few people for Dead Zone reading *weeps* It wasn't a particularly poetic story, but it is for my favorite couple and it's clearly very much been for my personal enjoyment than for anyone else to read, really.

Story that could have been better?
Stay (awake) With Me for sure. There are so many embarrassing typoes I started to uncover when taking a glance at it the other month. It really needs another proof read, a good beta read, several scene additions, and some possible rewrites. Ugh.

Sexiest story?
Stay (awake) With Me has the only real sex scene... Well, ok, my NaNo does have a wall!sex (dream) scene but no one else has seen it yet.

Most fun story?
Unwound, I think, just because it was this neat experiment that turned out far better than I thought it could.

Story with single sweetest moment?
Shimmer & Shine I think.

The story that made you cry?
I don't think any of mine did this year. Tears of frustration.... and relief when it was over... then Stay awake. And some of the scenes were painful to write.

Hardest story to write?
Stay (awake) with me - hands down. That bitch plagued me for over a year and saw cuts of somewhere around 10K words.

Easiest story to write?
The 6-word fic fills. They ended up being a blast to write and came so easily.

Most overdue story?
Stay (awake) with me.

Did you take any writing risks this year? What did you learn from them?
New things:
- Egg!fic
- Kid!fic (an unfinished fic I started writing in spring contains a de-aged Gabriel)
- Genderbend (He's Just a Man) & gender-flip (Unwound)
- Marvel fic
- Steve/Tony fic

Do you have any fanfic goals for the New Year?
- Continue with NaNo fic, rewrite/add bits and post it for the world
- Try another gender-flip fic
- Complete NaNoWriMo 2013 (fanfic or not)
- M0ar Avengers fic

And that's a wrap! Happy new year, all!
