Feedback? Send it anonymously!

So I saw this on someone else's blog and I thought it was a good idea.

Post purpose: Feedback! I'd really appreciate some honest (constructive) critiques/comments/suggestions regarding my stories. I write a lot, as you should know by now, and I've done fic for ten years now. It's painfully obvious to me which stories I wrote in my early years. Even two years ago I'll cringe at some things. So I know there will always be issues and things I can improve.

Now I know people can get shy about sending an author feedback for a variety of feelings. Honestly I don't mind the idea of anonymous feedback because with some comments from some people I might know, it has the potential to hurt my feelings or get embarrassed. So this idea works all around.

No, you don't have to do FB here. Please feel free to respond directly on fic posts!

If you do write here, please include fic title (& fandom) in subject. With ten years of fic... yeah, I can't really keep track.
Thank you for sharing your opinions!

Not here for feedback. I'm here because you posted a response on st_xi_kink that you wanted the person who wrote the prompt to contact you and I seem to be that person. I don't know if you'll like it, there's a chance, but I'm just letting you know. It's on page 9 and the prompt has Jim going into a coma after Spock bonds woth someone else. I really hope you like. And I'm sorry for this, but I don't know how to contact you any other way. I hope you like it :D

OH MY GOD. YOUR A HARPERS ISLAND FAN?!?! AHH! I love you! All my friends think I'm so strange to like that show! But it's my all time favorite! I love Jimmy. Who's your favorite character? (I knew it was henry the whole time.) :)

Harper's Island was absolutely amazing. Luckily for myself, I didn't expect the outcome. I had two moments prior the final episodes where I had the fleeting thought, but that was about all. =p

I love Danny (goddamnit he was so close to making it!) and sully and Henry (prior psychosis showing) and adored Cal and Chloe. Hated Madison. I really, really wanted her to be involved. =p

I found out when that son of a gun killed JD...I was upset i actually cried. it took me by surprise.
Danny was awesome. I loved the whole 'strawberry breakfast thing.' the box clearly reads: POPTARTS! Sully was smokin! But cal & chloe had the most dramatic & sad deaths. I loved Nikki too, with her whole 'strong chick' attitude.

Trish's death was one of my favorites too, but it really made me mad. How...could he do that to her? the betrayal, the death...erg.

I love most of your work, although I will admit that I haven’t read all the way back. You strong on a lot of things, the plot of what I’ve read is good, although seemingly random, especially in Shook the Bones, even though I think it’s AMAZING and I wish that you'd continue it. You’re great at sentence structure and you’re grammar’s good, and there are few errors, which I like. I’m an editor by trade, and it’s hard for me to read something, most of the time I edit it. However, that doesn’t seem to happen with your stories.
Your grasp of character, though, seems to be your most defining writing trait, at least from my perspective. You can keep each character true to form, but you allow them a lot of room to grow, which is something that most writers seem to struggle with.

Re: Feedback...
Thanks for your kind words! I appreciate the input. =)

Shook the Bones is killing me right now (ugh!) with stubborness. Suggestions or requests for the next part?

I'll admit that I haven't read much of your work (only what I've found on st_xi_kink's bookmarks), and I've not a very good writer myself since that it's not my main passion. But from what I can tell you're really growing. It's always fun to look at some of my friends art and see how much their style has changed/grown, and I feel that you are on the precipice of one of those moments. I originally came to you're page looking for more blind!Kirk, but I'm more than happy to give feedback. Good luck with the 30k. And I can't wait for more.

=3 Thank you!

It's crazy to see how much has changed for me over the years. 11 years of fanfic - can you believe it?! Each fandom exploration seems to affect me, and then I go back and continue to grow (which I'm very happy about and so excited when others notice). The challenges I've taken up always are interesting, so thank goodness the muses are too addicted to fic memes to let me off the hook in trying things. ;)

I hope you enjoy taking a look around and find some other things you'll enjoy reading. =3

Actually I dropped out of the BB I was participating in so it made very little progress. Rest assured, when it is finally done, I'll post it here.
