Archive of Our Own

*wave* Hey-o. Dropping a note to say I'm alive (well, okay, it hasn't been very long since I last posted) and that I've been busy again at the Archive in coding fic and posting. You can find me here. Only 25 stories up, as I type this. Shook the Bones is being posted there as chapters, though I may try and change how it's posted to be a series, as it's meant to be...

Anyway, I have somewhere around 300+/- stories from my fic writing career. I highly doubt I'll actually post everything (particularly the anime/manga stuff that I'm not real fond of from my early years) but I do want to archive most of my work. While I maintain my own website (by the way, Art of Life will be getting another makeover soon, it's really spiffy looking and awesome css coding *happy with self*) I like the idea of having a place that has a backup of my stuff. I also appreciate all the coding of tags available on the site, and the ratings (that, unlike ff.net, go to all levels).

Other notes: Paranormal Activity is fucking scary! Goddamn. Watched alt. ending first with a friend last night but I screamed (*facepalm* yes, literally) with the theatrical version. Holy fricking hell is all I can say.

Less scary but weird kind of mind-fuckery was A Perfect Getaway. Totally recommend it; and Milla Jovovich is beautiful, as usual. I really like the characters.

I could say I'm exaggerating except for the fact that, well, I'm not. ;;^^ During my early years (first four-ish or so) in anime/manga/videogame realms I had at least 86 (I could still think up the titles off the top of my head at the time, haha). Then a couple years ago I had counted for some reason or another and it was 200 +/-.

I mean, it's not like these are all epic proportions or even a couple thous words. I have many, many, many drabbles (100-500 words) for a variety of fandoms.

But, um. Yeah. ;;^^

Yay! You're alive! I am as well, barely. I'm pretty much done my app for the rp though. I just have to fix a few things because when I went to post it, I saw you'd made some changes since I'd copied and pasted the thing. Probably won't get to that until Tuesday though.

I have yet to see Paranormal Activity. I heard mixed reviews, but hey, if it's actually scary, I might download. :D

*hugs* I seem to be getting sick, sadly. =\ Also I've been neglecting obligation_rpg and not advertising for over a week now. *facepalm* Er, I lost some momentum.

Anyway, Paranormal Activity was very good. I recommend both endings, though it's the theatrical that was terrifying. When the movie was out, I remember everyone on my Twitter list who saw it said they freaked out. Including a bunch of guys that tend to be stoic, lol.

Also in the horror movie genre, I love The Skeleton Key. Goddamn that's good. Also got kind of hooked on The Reaping. Anyway, random additional commentary. ^_^

♥ Take care!

Ack no! Getting sick is bad! I'm off for the next few days with nothing pressing to do. If you want to send me your ad and I can advertise a few places if you want. Let me know.

Might download Paranormal Activity. I was really behind with that movie. I had a bunch of people on facebook post about going to see it when it came out and I'd never heard of it. Never saw a promo or anything! Now I'm curious!

The Skeleton Key... isn't that the one with Kate Hudson?

Kate Hudson - yeah! I <3 that movie, it's so awesome. Enjoy Paranormal Activity, it's weird~!

I'm sending you a PM with info about the ad now. =)
